“all that effort” is a two-day seminar. A while ago people would have looked at either PSM or CSM as being issued by the organizations managed by each of the two creators of Scrum. Nowadays you might get a nod for acceding to the 2nd level but the thing is, Agile as an idea has become so monetized and corrupted that today the only supporters among the original authors of the agile manifesto or other frameworks are this making money out of certifications, churning out people to try and deal with all the misconceptions of practical applications … and failing.

Second point, it seems everyone overlooks the fact that agile as a whole and all the frameworks around it were created by developers for developers and yet today it’s been taken over by managers looking for a way to wrap the old ways with new words.
