I also want to see Rust win a better place but modern C++ has won embedded, systems programming goes with Python and Go has more traction among concurrency enthusiasts (modern C++ also has concurrency constructs).

While Rust could find an edge in some use cases, I found it’s simply not practical to invest the effort.
