I am curious about one thing though, related to the usability of BTC.

How many transactions a second does the network support now? I was told a while ago it was something like 6 per second which seems very little, were BTC to replace fiat for daily operations.

Right now to make a single card transaction I pay nothing beyond the debited amount, yet to transfer BTC I not only pay extra upfront but it also takes a while for the transfer to show.

Other issues aside, as things stand it doesn’t seem like I’d want to receive a salary in my BTC wallet. Strangely enough, a lot of other cryptos seem to fare much better (technically speaking, at least)
