So you can’t foster the right workplace culture and it’s the problem of Slack/Teams? Seriously? You do know that email notwithstanding (just about all great complaint leaks in the last decade were emails) employees have always banded for only watercooler talk on Skype/Facebook/etc

This is not an issue. It’s just making more visible the symptoms of the real issues: company culture, hiring abilities, poor hr department (seriously, nobody gets the importance of HR in fostering culture).

Seems to me that when faced with employees freely discussing the company shortcomings, this particular CEO wants to swipe the dirt back under the rug and keep pretending it doesn’t exist.
